Bring your remote control boat or just stop by and watch others enjoy the Boat Cove at Gene Leahy Mall. The Boat Cove is located at 10th and Farnam Street under the bridge area.

One of the most unique musical ensembles in the United States, The Intergeneration Orchestra of Omaha bridges two diverse age groups through the common language of music.  The Orchestra is now in it’s 42ndseason.  Musicians are all volunteers and either 25 years of age and younger or 55 years of age and older.  Mark Benson serves as the Music Director.  The Orchestra is sponsored by the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging.   Visit the Performance Pavilion for an afternoon of great music! 

Have you been keeping cool on your couch all summer?Now is the time to kick it up and get ready for those fall walks.Join the Nebraska Trailblazers in a Couch to 5K walking program.  For three mornings a week for six weeks, they will have you all ready to walk your first 5K walk.Join them at 9 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Arch in Gene Leahy Mall at 11th& Farnam.

Join the Downtown YMCA for Total Body Conditioning at the Downtown Green in Gene Leahy Mall! Participants can expect intervals of high intensity cardio and strength training to create a fitness training experience. This class will improve participants’ overall fitness, agility, speed and athleticism in the high intensity class. Modifications can be made for all fitness levels but be prepared to push yourself! A consent form is required for participation in the class. You can fill one out online via the link before your class. Join us at Gene Leahy Mall and The RiverFront for a Community Wellness Walk focused on movement, connection, and practical health education. Each walk begins with a short wellness discussion and simple group stretch followed by a 20-30 minute walk through the park. All fitness levels are welcome. Walks start at the Wind Sculpture near 13th St. Come move, learn, and enjoy the community!
