Fuzzy Printing with Hot Shops
Turn drawings into prints through the process of trace monotypes. Using ink, paper, and the pressure of only a pencil, we will transfer designs to create a unique print. The transfer process creates a textured, contour fuzzy-line characteristic to these playful prints. Visitors will be welcome to create their own drawings or work from found images. Meet at the Arrival Plaza next to the Discovery Playground!Â
Leahy Mall Yacht Club
Bring your remote control boat or just stop by and watch others enjoy the Boat Cove at Gene Leahy Mall. The Boat Cove is located at 10th and Farnam Street under the bridge area.
Intergeneration Orchestra
One of the most unique musical ensembles in the United States, The Intergeneration Orchestra of Omaha bridges two diverse age groups through the common language of music. The Orchestra is now in it’s 42ndseason. Musicians are all volunteers and either 25 years of age and younger or 55 years of age and older. Mark Benson serves as the Music Director. The Orchestra is sponsored by the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging.  Visit the Performance Pavilion for an afternoon of great music!Â
