Join the Downtown YMCA for Total Body Conditioning at the Downtown Green in Gene Leahy Mall! Participants can expect intervals of high intensity cardio and strength training to create a fitness training experience. This class will improve participants’ overall fitness, agility, speed and athleticism in the high intensity class. Modifications can be made for all fitness levels but be prepared to push yourself! A consent form is required for participation in the class. You can fill one out online via the link before your class. The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Nebraska (LETR) will be hosting Torch Run events throughout the state throughout the month of May.These Torch Runs bring together local law enforcement, Special Olympics Nebraska (SONE) athletes, supporters and volunteers to run the SONE “Flame of Hope” through their community to raise money and awareness for SONE and the organization’s over 7,700 athletes who have an intellectual disability.
