In this workshop you will immerse yourself in making a mandala, the Sanskrit word for circle. Hindu and Buddhist traditions use mandalas as a tool for meditation and focus. Before you know it, the repetitive lines and designs will send you into a meditative state of calm and relaxation. Various options & sizes of drawing surfaces will be provided along with markers, colored pencils, string and magnets so that you can choose how to display your magnificently completed mandala. Meet at the Arrival Plaza next to the Discovery Playground! 

Swing by the Art Cart and explore simple drop-in art activities and materials perfect for all ages and skill levels. Whether you want to sketch, craft or try something new, its an easy way to make something on your own while you are enjoying the space! Find the Art Cart near the Downtown Green in Gene Leahy Mall.
