In partnership with the City of Omaha and Holiday Lights Festival producers Mayor Jean Stothert and Downtown Omaha Inc. Foundation, The RiverFront is proud to present the 2023 Lighting Ceremony at Gene Leahy Mall. Following the return of holiday lights in 2022, this year’s celebration will commence on Saturday, November 25th at 6 PM. While you’re enjoying holiday lights at The RiverFront, be certain to explore some of the other festive decorations that can be found in downtown Omaha!
In the Old Market, white lights, garland, and dazzling snowflakes will illuminate the brick streets and historic architecture. This sparkling spectacle spans several blocks, from 10th to 13th Streets, between Farnam and Jackson Streets.
The North Omaha lighting display will be showcased within a six-block area near 24th and Lake Streets.
In South Omaha, more glittering lights will be thoughtfully placed along 24th Street between L and Q Streets.
