Join the Downtown YMCA for Sculpt at the Downtown Green in Gene Leahy Mall! Sculpt class is a total-body workout that combines the flow of yoga with the intensity of strength training. Using light weights, bodyweight movements, this class builds strength, while keeping the mindful foundations of yoga. A consent form is required for participation in the class. Tuesday, May 5th is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Relatives (MMIWG/MMIR), established to honor victims, support families, and shine a light on the epidemic of violence against Native people. The Nebraska Urban Indian Health Coalition (NUIHC), Healing Ribbons, Omaha Native community, and many community organizations bring awareness to this cause through song, dance, and providing a safe space for all to come together.

This class will improve participants’ overall fitness, agility, speed and athleticism in the high intensity class. Modifications can be made for all fitness levels but be prepared to push yourself! Spring is here and music is in the air! Come enjoy a concert band performance in the park, presented by the Missouri Valley Middle School bands. These students have worked hard all year learning their craft and would like to share their growth and excitement with the community. Head over to the Performance Pavilion to enjoy a concert by the Missouri Valley Middle School Bands! 

Stop by to grab a mix of classic lawn games, board games and activities perfect for all ages and group sizes!  Enjoy the park and please return the items when you are done.
